Anthony Dominguez began making people laugh at a young age. Being new to the neighborhood, plus the shortest kid in the entire school, his best weapon against being made fun of, was humor. At first it was just a quick line, a witty comeback, followed by quick routines. Then something unexpected happened, girls started to notice him. From this point forward it became his primary tool in differentiating himself from the herd, disarming the bullies, and last but not least, meeting girls. He spent his evenings crafting stories, jokes and characters, all in preparation for the next day, making sure he was prepared for any social setting. The jokes came easily, even at that age, possessing an ‘old soul’ and due to his extended family, a unique way of looking at the world, Anthony could entertain any and everyone he met. For many years, this was enough…..
Fast forward to present day, it’s been many years since the wry smile of pretty girl in the seat next to him, or the simple defeat of a bully with nothing more than his words was enough to feed the beast. The desire to stand on stage, hold the MIC, and make an audience laugh night after night became too strong. Having spent several years getting into adventures even he himself sometimes can’t believe, Anthony took the plunge. Stepping onstage, he did what he knew he could do, make the audience laugh with his countless stories derived from his strange and wild life. Not much has changed since he was the short kid with the quick joke and strange stories, Anthony still has the unique ability to connect with any audience. Young, old, sophisticated or raunchy, he has a joke or story guaranteed to entertain each and everyone. .
Anthony soon found the need to express himself offstage. With a flair for stories, Anthony has begun working with different producers, actors and comedians to bring you the best in Shorts, Sketches, Podcast’s and Film. Anthony is currently writing, performing onstage and acting in a few different sketch comedy productions. Be sure to check out the Video section for some of his most memorable sketches.
